Ron has already posted here and here about our road trip to Phoenix for Christmas.

The weather outside is not conducive to a road trip to say the least!

Some pictures from the day:

This little guy was quite thrilled with the suet feeder.

The squirrels didn't even get out of bed this morning. This is the squirrel feeder in the maple tree by our front door. As you can see, no one even checked it out today.

This was around 10am this morning. It was no where near done snowing.

Tomorrow we take off into the winter on our road trip. It should be alright. We have maps showing all the Starbucks between here and Phoenix, so we can't go wrong!

It really did snow today! They let us go home early from school today (though for me that meant I got to go wait an hour for the ferry, but even that was fun watching the snow come down) so I got home while it was still light out and took some pictures of the house in the snow. Not exactly the enveloping blanket that make snow so wonderful, but it was still really fun!
