I'm tired....will you be my valentine?

Well, alright then. I've made it all the way to midterms. And I'm very tired. I thought I had this week under control, but I got to work on Monday and discovered we had a staff meeting that night. That makes for a long day on a day that is already long. I left the house at 6:00am and didn't get home till 9:00pm. Today was my only light day this week, but I was exhausted when I got up this morning and now I am more so. Tomorrow is supposed to be a half day, but I need to go in for 8:00 Junior certification meetings so I need to be up at the usual time. (This is proof of that the adage "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" is a load of crap. The squeaky wheel just gets more work to do.)

Anyway. What has happened since the last time I posted? Hmmm. We went to the garden show. Better this year. Not as overwhelmingly directed at middle-aged suburban women and A-list gays as in past years. Had dinner with Ron's sister Kathy and her partner Ellen. Kathy has a job interview today, hopefully she gets it. We are worried about her ability to find a decent job. She is super competent and has lots of skills, but she is one of those people who can break an ankle standing up from her desk so she is kind of a medical liability. Dinner was her birthday present so that took care of our eating-out budget for the rest of the month.

Hmm. We are getting close to shore. Time to end this grumpy little missive.

I'm not sure what we are doing for V-day. We forgot to make reservations anywhere.
