New Puddletown Class!
Feb. 7th, 2006 09:07 pm(I realize this is only of value to local journal readers, but never fear, I know where you all live and am keeping an eye out for lessons in your area!)

Our first "Taste of Square Dancing" for our Thursday night class is
officially on!
February 9th, 7:00pm at St. Andrews till around 9:00 (we will go till 9:30 on lesson nights.)
This will be the first "See what square dancing is all about night" so it is a good chance to drag people who you have been trying to get to come out square dancing onto the floor and let them try it out.
Since confirmation has come kind of late, the 16th will be a good night to start as well. It will be a little more formal, but still focused on the basics and having fun so that night would be a good one to try Square dancing out as well.
According to the person recruiting for us, we have 8 or 9 people signed up and ready to go. The more we can add to that number the better!
This would also be a great chance for anyone who hasn't danced in a while and is feeling kind of rusty to brush up on their skills, and of course, for any of our about to graduate mainstream dancers, this is a great chance to get an extra night of review and dancing in.
Directions to St. Andrews are:
From I-5 Southbound
Take the N 85th St exit 172 to NE 80th St -- go .1 mi (.2 km)
Take the ramp to N.E. 80th St. -- go .4 mi (.7km)
Bear right at NE 80th St -- You're there!
From I-5 Northbound
Take the Ravenna Blvd
exit 170 to NE 65th St -- go .2 mi
Turn left at NE Ravenna Blvd -- go .4mi
Bear right at Woodlawn Ave NE -- go .4 mi
Bear right at 1st Ave NE --go .3 mi
Turn right at NE 80th St -- You're there!
We are very excited to be able to offer a second class this year, so come on out and lets show our potential dancer what fun it is!
