I keep forgetting to post about these here.

Puddletown is hosting a Community Square Dance tonight at Tibbetts Methodist in West Seattle. It should be a lot of fun.

Casual Dress, no experience necessary. 7 to 9pm.

Our third Community Square Dance was tonight. I wore my club shirt so I would be all official.

I suck at announcements. I'm sure people think, "wow, who let the special needs adult have the microphone?"

I got a lot of pressure to do a demo tip, but I refuse to turn these into direct recruiting events. They are about building community, not about talking people into trying Modern Western Square Dancing. When I try to explain that, people just look at me like I am stupid and missing an opportunity.

I get that a lot.

Maybe I should take the hint.
