Our power was just out for nearly two hours (as far as we could tell it was a huge swath of the neighborhood) and the emergency power outage hotline never updated to admit that there was an outage much less tell us what caused it.
update: I finally found reference to the outage on KOMO tv's website. 10,000 homes in the Montlake, Madison, and Capitol Hill neighborhoods had no power due to downed lines. If the TV station can find that out, why couldn't the city say that on their emergency hotline recording? I thought they were supposed to figure out all of their response issues last year after the horrible outages we had?
