Those that, when in the bathroom because of some flu related symptom, think, "I feel awful," or, "I hope this is over soon," or, "I'm ready to die now, this is not worth it," and those that think, "I have to post about this to LiveJournal!"
In an effort not be the second sort, let me just say that the human body is full of more vile substances and ill humors than I had imagined.
What makes me think of this today is that I am finally over the flu that lasted most of February. It has been so long since I felt well that I had almost forgotten what it is like. My digestive tract is back to its normal cranky and temperamental self, rather than a cross between a clogged shower drain and an overheated lava lamp filed with particularly unfortunate colors.
Just in time for my allergies to start acting up.
