Seasonal drinks

My favorite drink that I have read so far is for the:

Jack O' Tini
The perfect martini for your Halloween party
2 oz. Vodka - chilled
1/4 oz. Bols Pumpkin Smash Liqueur
1 Candy Corn

Place a single candy corn at the bottom of chilled cocktail glass. Combine vodka and liqueur a shaker with ice, shake well and strain into the glass.

I suspect it is my favorite because of the Candy Corn. They are so good at this time of year when they are freshly harvested.

Unfortunately I won't get to try it since one of the links that came up when I was trying to find the Bols Liqueur was the minutes from a WA state liquor board meeting where they were deciding what to add to their selection and they gave it a thumbs down so Bols Pumpkin Smash Liqueur is verbotten here in the Peoples Republic. Why a state agency is involved in product selection is beyond me. I'm sure it has something to do with "protecting the children." Phhttt.

Bear Boot Camp 2005

As many people know, I am a Jonathan (the Bearaoke DJ) groupie (he is -really- cute, -really- nice, and smells -really- good.) Since he sponsors the event below, I thought I would pass on the info. Despite being called "boot camp" there is nothing boot campy about it. It is just time away from the city to hang out and relax and engage in silliness between naps.
