Jul. 1st, 2005 09:51 amWell, we are in Santa Clara. The last few days have been amazingly busy, but it is over now and we can just relax and enjoy the convention. The Santa Clara Marriot is nice, but it is a little like a third world country in that there is no place in the hotel to get a Mocha in the afternoon. Yeesh.
Caller school was really tiring. We started at 9:00 and ended at 8:00 each day with only a couple one hour breaks during the day. My head was -really- full the first day, just as full but there seemed to be places for all the stuff the next day, and the third day, the information actually seemed like something I could use. I started out really doubting I could be a square dance caller, and now, thanks to the coaches Bronc Wise and Mike Jacobs, I am really excited about it.
Anyway, we are off to breakfast and then to the Winchester Mystery Mansion. More later when I have time (our trip to SF for Pride was fun too...but somehow SF Pride has become a drinking holiday for straight kids....)
