kitty update

I talked to Ariel's oncologist and she said that the chances of another remission, especially since the second one has only been 4 months and she never really thrived, were slim. She did give us a third option, and that was to do one round of chemo just to restore some of her kidney function, then she could come home for awhile before the end. I went with that option since I did not want her to go straight from being at the vet for three days to being put to sleep.

We did kitty hospice for our cat after she developed a mystery wasting illness (either cancer or FIT-- the test was inconclusive). While sad it was much less tramatic than having to put her down at the vet's.

We are going to have a traveling vet come out to the house when it is time. I want her to feel save and unafraid when it is time.
