WSD Pride dance?

So, rlegters and I will be in the San Francisco area this weekend for some pre-convention vacationing. We had intended to go to a dance that we saw flyer for at our last Puddletown dance, but now we can't find anything about it. It is a Pride dance with Kris Jensen calling. The Western Star Dancers web site lists a pride dance on Saturday, so I am assuming that is it, but there is no info about the dance on their web page, just a link to the location.

Is that indeed the dance with Kris Jensen? When does it start? What levels will she be calling? Is it still happening? Does anyone know?

The internet is seriously letting me down here.

Yes, the WSD Pride Dance is with Kris Jensen. It is from 7:30-10:30pm at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 678 Portola Drive. It will be MS & Plus with an Advanced Star tip. (At least, that's what the flyer says.)

Please note that you should pay attention to various driving directions and seek out an alternate route if you're planning to drive via Market Street. Saturday evening is Pink Saturday in the Castro and several streets will be closed to traffic. I believe Market Street will be closed off all night starting around 6pm(?) between Sanchez(?) and Castro(?).

If Market Street was part of the driving directions, check out Clipper Street as an alternate.

if BART doesn't go on strike, take BART to Glen Park Station in SF, then take the 44 MUNI busline and get off on Portola and O'Shaugnessy, walk a block away from the city on Portola, and Ebenezer is there on the right hand side.

I just went to Kris's blog and commented on a recent post there, asking her the question. I suppose I could have just emailed her, but this seemed like a more novel way to approach it. Not sure whether she'll check her blog comments, though. ;-)

Yeah, there used to be a link to the northern CA square dances page from the IAGSDC web page, but that got lost when they switched to their new format.
