Uni was one of the specials, but we've tried it before, and we're not particularly eager to try it again. Perhaps it's an acquired taste - or, more to the point, texture; sort of fish pudding.
It *is* however, a difficult fish (well, sea creature, I suppose)… uni that isn't super fresh can get really icky, quite quickly, much like eating an old briny sponge.
