Snow Day(s)

It started snowing on Monday.


And it did! This is Tuesday morning. School was cancelled and Ron worked from home.


Here is Ron running a training for people across the country from our basement. We need a speaker phone if he is going to do this often.


This little guy was waiting for me when I put the feeder out this morning. He sat there for a good half hour. It was probably pretty warm. I bring the feeder in at night when I know it is going to freeze so they won't have to wait for it to thaw in the morning.


Here he is later in the morning. He is puffed up like a little green ball of feathers.


I built birdhouses.


We have a snowy forest in the backyard.


I'm letting the cold shock the fuchsias into dormancy so I can bring them into the garage. Not working so far.

we're doing training for all 140+ people in our department, about 8 at a time, so this is the 8th or 9th time I've heard the first guy's spiel about the new process (my part is the hands-on tool bit). It wasn't exciting and interesting the first time.
