need more names

I am developing company bios for use in Advanced design. I have created mission statements for the 12 companies we will be creating materials for, starting with the visual identity for each company. Two of the companies we will actually be doing a brand exploration and helping the company choose their name, the others will already have names. That is where you come in if you have a few minutes and enjoy thinking up names for companies.

A company that specializes in Handcrafted mission furniture and traditional wood furniture.

Gourmet soups mainly resold to upscale grocery stores

Your really awfully good at this. If you ever want to change careers, you should look into branding. You'd be good at it.

[identity profile] allanh.livejournal.com 2005-05-05 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you!

I think more than anything, these periodic exercises of yours provide me with a "licensed" opportunity to create puns.

Unsurprisingly, I initiate most of the branding and marketing schemes at work, and I designed our new business cards (mostly out of desperation for something tasteful).

Larry (our roommate) suggests "Tall Tails" for the yarn store.

I also thought of suggesting "Skein Heads", but it was too similar to other names.

Boy, [livejournal.com profile] allan_h sure got into it! I only came up with a couple of things and then ran out of steam. (It's also very late.)
