House hunt

We went house hunting again today and took pictures of the house we hope to put an offer on next week:

Here is the outside again. We forgot to take a picture of the back decks.

We measured the living room, dinning room, kitchen, entryway at the new house and it was 28' by 30'. Our current house, the entire thing, is 25' by 40'.

Our agent feels pretty confident that we will get an offer from the people he is showing the house to tomorrow, so we would be making our offer Tuesday.

It's nice how it blends into its surrounding. Very nice to have 2 car garage and that flowering tree is beautiful. Good luck with both offers ... your buyers and yours ...

HUGS!

This house is gorgeous! Does it need any work?

The deck in back needs some work (it was not connected to the foundation properly when it was built) and the picture of the shower does not show where there is tile that was never installed, but otherwise it seems pretty solid. It needs appliances and lots of light fixtures, but that is easy stuff. Roof, foundation, and all the big ticket structural stuff seems to be just fine though.

The carpets are trashed but since we both think carpets are evil (after pulling up carpets I will never live in a house that has them again...nasty.) that is a plus for us. Hopefully it will keep anyone else from making an offer while we are waiting for someone to bid on our house.

interesting! Why did the owners take the pendant lights over the (real nicely redone) island in the kitchen?

I'm not sure it ever had any. We don't know how far the remodel got before the owner was foreclosed on. He did take all the appliances, but the light fixtures may have never been there in the first place.

The kitchen and master bath look wonderful! The waterfall, not so much... :-)

I'm sure you'll be very happy there!

It seems like a nice area and the house seems both spacious and solid. I like it a lot.

The city of Kenmore itself is zoned to be a nice place but it will take an upswing in the economy and some smart developing to make it more than a wide spot on the highway. Right now there aren't even sidewalks between businesses.
