Wow. I think [livejournal.com profile] kung_fu_monkey may have written the screenplay for this:

(normally I wish we lived closer to he and [livejournal.com profile] dr_tectonic, but now I'm glad for the distance....he is going to want to -hurt- me after watching this.... :-)

On one hand, I do love terrible movies. They present someones efforts but are ultimately undermined by their own shortcomings and lack of vision, resulting in comedic value galore.

On the other, some movies are just terrible. Nonsensical, poorly arranged, IQ dampening babble frothing forth from the screen to consume our sense of taste, our precious time, and our wallets.

This movie, "The FP", is about halfway between the previous statements. Edgy DDR? Oh, that's funny. Hero with an eye patch, rockin' the 80's look, on mission of revenge by training in killer DDR? That's trying just *way* too hard, ripping off far too many movie tropes, and looks just barely stapled together.

The biggest gripe, however, is none of the above. No, no. My gripe is seeing the DDR death-off on SUCH A TINY MONITOR! No wonder that one guy lost; he couldn't see any of the arrows. Any DDR player, passive or hardcore, will tell you to get a larger screen as that affects your stance and balance during gameplay.
